This
two-story1880’s Cigar Maker’s Cottage has been completely renovated and
has a living room, kitchen, dining room and bath (with outdoor shower) on
the ground floor. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a toilet closet, and a vanity
in the master bedroom. The living room includes a custom made queen sleeper sofa, 32" TV, VCR, Technics stereo w/CD player, cordless phone with answering machine, Bahama ceiling fan and original hand-colored Caribbean photos/frames of Robin Mas. A bookcase full of books will keep you entertained throughout your stay; enjoy them on the front porch with relaxing chairs and sounds. The kitchen is equipped with a double door refrigerator with ice/water dispenser, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, dishwasher, pantry and all food preparation utensils and equipment. A breakfast bar seats four. The dining room is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows allowing natural light to filter through the lush vegetation. The dining table seats up to eight and has a buffet with TV. The downstairs bathroom has a custom two-person walk-in shower with glass door, hair dryer, beach towels, beach bags and a French door, which leads to a secluded outdoor shower. The rear private deck has table/chairs, 6 person Jacuzzi, and gas BBQ grill and tropical plants. Upon going upstairs, you walk into a loft style bedroom with a double bed. Stepping up one step, you walk past the closet size toilet enclosure with louvered doors and into the master bedroom that has a king Soma waterbed. Included in the bedroom is a vanity with large mirror. The upstairs suite has extra closet space and an in-room safe. Two quiet Quasar air-conditioners cool the entire house. Other amenities include use of two heated pools, exercise pavilion with treadmill and a second story European style sundeck. |

The Windward Isle cottage is a perfect example of shotgun architecture with a front porch and back deck. The style is common throughout the islands. Our shotgun was renovated in 1998 with original Dade County pine floors and sandblasted walls that reflect the antiquity of design. Each of the two bedrooms include a king bed with light weight down comforter, duvet cover and down pillows, telephone, full length mirror, wicker dresser, cable TV and a clock radio for those early mornings. The living room is furnished with TV, DVD and Panasonic stereo with CD player. The open kitchen with breakfast bar and glass-top stove flows effortlessly from the living room and provides access to the private back yard and private Jacuzzi. A gas grill is outside, next to the umbrella table for four. The shared driveway has two private parking places, one for each sister cottage, Windward Isle and Leeward Isle. All the necessities are provided for you: cordless telephone with answering machine, A/C, ceiling fans, in-room safe, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and beach towels. Use of Center Courts heated Family Pool and Adults Pool, as well as our European Sundeck are included, just steps away. Enjoy our complimentary daily happy hour during season and on weekends during the summer and fall around the pool/garden. |
