Key West has some of the most exciting fishing the tropics have to offer. I've been Fishing the Tropical waters of Key West and the lower Florida Keys for over 20 years. The water around Key West offer a wide variety of Sportfishing, both offshore and on the reef. Sailfish, Wahoo, Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi or Dorado), Marlin, Barracuda, Shark, Tarpon, Grouper, Snapper and More !
Having the right tackle for different anglers and conditions is important. On the Southbound we offer a wide range of tackle so we can accommodate both the beginner and the seasoned angler. Southbound is equipped with a wide range of tackle, everything from 80 lb. trolling rods to 15 lb. spinning reels. Our preferred tackle while trolling is 30 lb. test line. This has proven to be a great all around line size. Not too small for the big fish and still light enough to allow smaller fish to put up a great fight. We've successfully landed Blue and White Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Dolphin, Barracuda, Tuna, Grouper and Snapper using 30 lb. tackle. For the more experienced angler, 15 and 20 lb. spinning tackle is available.

 A custom buit # 1 hull. Built in Key West for Key West fishing. 5 fighting chairs with a roomy fishing deck the latest in marine electronics. It raises fish and catches them very well. Aslo you will find a very clean bathroom as Capt. Rich keeps a clean boat.

Booking Policies
Booking a fishing charter on this boat requires a deposit of 20% of the total trip fare to secure a day with the ballance paid in full at the dock upon your charter date.
There is a 7 day cancellation policy. Cancellations due to bad weather are the captains descretion.
Confirmation of your charter will be sent to you via email after booking. Please make sure your dates are correct before you sign it. Please bring your confirmation with you when you travel.
