FAQ's
What is the difference between two and three day
trips?
The difference is your departure time and bag limit on fish
Do we need to bring our own tackle? We supply
all hooks, leads, set-ups, leader line, bait, and bedding If you
have any special rigs feel free to bring them. You also may want
to bring Sabiki rigs to catch live bait or fresh goggle eyes.
What size cooler should I bring and how many? On board
you won't need anything larger than 100qts. or 25gal. Feel free
to keep your larger coolers inside your car. You will need them
when we return.
Can I bring beer on board? You may bring beer on board. All we ask is that it be in
cans.
NO GLASS!!
What type of equipment do you recommend? We
recommend a 4/0 Conventional rod with 40lb test line and a
Spinning rod with 20lb test line. You also may want to bring a
smaller rod to catch live bait.
How many rods can I bring? You can
bring as many as you want.
Can I bring a live well? Certainly.
Just make sure it is battery operated as we do not have any
outlets on board.
How long does it take to get to the Dry Tortugas? It takes
approximately 4 hours.
