Packing for Key West

Many times people ask us, "what should we bring to Key West?"  After years in the industry we have come up with this suggested list of packing items.

The number one thing that we always remind people of is that Key West is a laid back and casual destination; that goes for the dress as well.  Even the nicest of restaurants doesn't require suit or ties, although by all means if that is what make you feel comfortable, dress up!

One other piece of advice that I tend to follow is that less is more. Try to limit yourself to one piece of luggage--a carry-on--as it will save you a bunch of time at the airport and eliminate the possibility of lost luggage.  Airlines require carry-on luggage to be 9" x 22" x 14" in size.  You can actually cram a heck of a lot of clothing in that space.

Feel free to utilize or modify the list below to better fit your needs. The Southernmost City tends to be warm to hot most of the year, but it does occasionally become downright chilly for a few days in late December and early January.  Keep that in mind when packing for your vacation.

  Happy Packing!
